August 2026:

The manuscript of David's forthcoming book "Bribery Humanized: A Guide to Understanding and Countering Corruption" (Columbia Business School Publishing) is proceeding toward publication.

July 2026:

David has reviewed the proofs of his forthcoming book Timeless Wisdom from the Arthashastra and the Chanakya Niti: On Accounting, Auditing, and Fraud (Delhi: Motilal Banarsidass). 

May 2026: 

David retired early from his professional work in the United Nations system, to focus full-time on his writing activities and related endeavors.

April 2025: 

David joined the editorial board of the International Journal of Auditing and Accounting Studies (IJAAS). 

April 2025:

Internal Auditor, the official magazine of the Institute of Internal Auditors, published David's article "Audit beyond boundaries" in its April issue (pages 58 to 62). 

February 2025:

Accountancy Ireland, the official member magazine of Chartered Accountants Ireland, featured David's book The Closing of the Auditor's Mind? in its February / March issue. Available here (pages 50 to 53). 

January 2025:

The journal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India published David's article "Kautilya’s Arthaśāstra and modern accounting and auditing." The Chartered Accountant. Vol. 73, No. 7: 893-896.
